It’s not entirely a new bike, but 2012 GSX R1000 has been fitted with some new features, not least the “old style” exhaust system.

It’s not entirely a new bike, but 2012 GSX R1000 has been fitted with some new features, not least the “old style” exhaust system. Arrow exhausts for this new bike are now ready and these can be ordered throught Arrow’s sales network. The new layout of the exhaust system made it possible to fit both the Race-Tech silencers (titanium, carbon, aluminium and black aluminium)and the Works silencer (only titanium) to the Arrow collectors or to the original pipes. Also, Arrow collectors can be used with the original silencer. Power increase is around 2hp with the slip on silencer, while the full system gives a great improvement of around 14hp with respect to the original system. Weight saved is around 40%. GP silencer is also available, and Competition systems have been developed.
